Physical Infrastructure
Tirrim Development Program has been the hands for the Rendille occupied area for almost 30 years. Projects ranging from residential homes to water towers to entire school campuses have been build to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ. These high quality structures have given the local church physical structures in which to share spiritual life throughout the community.
Food
The Rendille community lives in a dry desert land. Agriculture is difficult due to lack of fertile soil and access to water. The Tirrim Development Program has been able to provide food through the help of generous supporters to the community. Programs like “Food for Work” have allowed the community to invest in the physical development of the Korr area as well as providing for their families.
Emergencies
In the Korr area, the medical facilities are poorly funded and struggle to provide medications. So emergency transportation is usually not an option. Tirrim Development Program has been able to provide the Korr area with emergency transportation within and transportation to bigger facilities outside of the Korr area.
Scholarships
Many students struggle to find means to finish their education. Sometimes it is due to academic performance or attendance; but many times, it is due to lack of finances. Tirrim Development Program has been able to provide scholarships to students to allow them an opportunity to continue their education and pursue a brighter future.
